School paths

“There are no dead-ends, only turning points.” – That is the philosophy of the Zinzendorf Schools.

The Zinzendorf Schools offer different paths to scholastic attainment:

  • From the primary school leaving qualification
  • Over the middle school leaving qualification
  • To the advanced technical college certificate
  • And the Abitur.

The Individual Path to Attainment

With ten different school types and transmissibility in all directions we can offer each youth a path to a qualified educational qualification according to their momentary situation.

B2 German and English language levels according to the European Framework for Language is a regular school requirement.

Next to the „classical attainments“ such as the general German Qualification for university entrance and the middle school certificate we also offer the educator education, with which the advanced technical college certificate can be attained. All students comprise the school community, which shows in the comprehensive projects and work groups.

The Zinzendorf Schools are state recognized and teach all school types according to the education plan of the federal state of Baden-Wuerttemberg. All exams take place in-house. With ten different school types and a transmissibility in all directions, we can offer each youth a path to a qualified educational attainment according to their momentary situation. Four different paths alone lead to the Abitur.

Next to the „classical attainments“ such as the general German Qualification for university entrance (Abitur) and the middle school certificate (Realschulabschluss) we also offer the educator education, with which the advanced technical college certificate can be attained. That way each student can find their individual path to their goal according to their own interests and needs.

Languages as a key to the world

Languages as a key to the world

A specialty of the school is the English-bilingual teaching model that is firmly integrated in our eight-year high school. In that way geography in grade 7, history in grade 8, and biology in grades 9 and 10 are taught in English.
In French class, it is possible to gain the diplome d‘études de langue francaise (DELF). It serves as an official certification for the French language when enrolling at a university and improves professional perspectives in francophone countries.
Linguistically talented students with English and French knowledge can chose Spanish as a third foreign language. The foreign mother tongue can be recognized as a foreign language under certain circumstances. German as a foreign language is firmly incorporated in the schedule.

Choose according to your strenghts and interests!

Choose according to your strenghts and interests!

From grade 9 in high school a profile subject is chosen: Spanish (as a third foreign language), NWT (natural science and engineering) or fine arts & media design. English bi-lingual lessons take place alternatingly in geography, history and biology from grades 7 – 10 and expand an intensive knowledge of English. On the senior level we offer a broad choice of additional subjects such as literature & theatre or in the field of art. During a two-week professional internship in the 10th and 11th grade students gain first experience in diverse professional fields. The internship is embedded in a comprehensive concept for professional orientation. The new subject “Economics, career and study orientation” is firmly incorporated in the schedule.
